Cube & Coroplast Habitats are Required

Piggie Poo requires that all of our adopted piggies are housed in C&C (cube and coroplast) habitats as pet store cages are too small.

Retailers will tell you that small cages are fine. THIS IS
NOT TRUE!

Small cages have been shown to directly contribute to serious health conditions like bumblefoot and impaction, as well as emotional distress. Piggies are much happier, healthier and more active in a large home.

We understand that you might think "a big cage is SUCH a hassle!", but what's really important is your piggie's health and well being. Know that a large C&C cage is actually much easier to clean, stays clean longer, requiring less bedding and less time!

Piggie Poo does not recommend two-level cages as ramp and lofts are opportunities for falls and injuries.

Piggies are ground dwelling creatures and the most important thing to consider when building your C&C Cage is floor space i.e. square footage.
